Susan Naderi Johnston, General Manager
Susan Naderi Johnston brings to her role as general manager for Ame more than 14 years of experience in the restaurant industry. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Susan began her career in local restaurants in her home town. While she enjoyed working in the restaurant industry, Susan didn't realize that food and wine were her true passions until an inspirational summer in Europe, followed by extensive travel in South America. Since then, Susan has worked at Mobil 4 and 5 Star restaurants, including a five year stint at the Flagstaff House Restaurant in Colorado, as well as two years at Restaurant Gary Danko.

At Ame, Susan is responsible for assisting restaurateurs Hiro Sone and Lissa Doumani in realizing their vision for their 95-seat restaurant. Susan graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a double major in communications and art history, and has completed course work with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
